This interactive session will explore how ordinary people can deter violence in areas affected by conflict to support the work of local human rights defenders and other civil society organisations. It will draw upon PBI's experience but will also consider the
problems and limitations inherent in such work. WARNING; this will not be a lecture and there will be no Powerpoint slides.
