During this Hatha Yoga + Meditation four week course we will practice various āsanas to improve the intelligence of the body, flexibility and strength, particularly core strength and upper body strength, for safer
and and more stable yoga practice.
Every week we will work with various breathwork exercises at the start of the class, and then continue with the practice of āsanas, each class will be finished with relaxation and head massage (optional) as well as meditation, to bring your mind and body in unison.

Please note that there is no class on April 30 as at that time I will be expanding my knowledge and studying Anatomy of Breath and Anatomy of Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of well renowned Yoga Anatomy and Ashtanga yoga teacher David Keil. Hatha Yoga + Meditation course at Áras na nGael is the foundation course of yoga āsana and meditation practice. The evening's class will guide you through āsanas that will help you to establish a strong foundation within your practice, a place from which to improve your practice at home.
During this course we will explore various āsanas that will build your understanding and knowledge of your body, and the patterns in which your body moves and adjusts to each āsana. This class will help to build understanding of the alignment in each āsana, strength and flexibility to ease tension and improve posture. Each class in the course will be finished with Savasana to reap the benefits of the practice, an optional gentle head message and a guided meditation.
This 4 week course is suited for improvers who want to build a better understanding of the alignment in each āsana and how to build a safe and mindful practice at home.
