Introducing Gwynedd Pop Up events where alumnae have the chance to plan alumane events and get the Gwynedd gang back together.
Christine Burke '07 and Moira McGinn '08 are excited to launch the first Gwynedd Pop Up on January 22nd! Bring your homeroom buddies, your lunch table friends, your teammates,
and your favorite Gwynedd Girls to the first in hopefully a series of "pop up" Gwynedd get togethers in your area.
This is a 21+ event!
Gwynedd Pop Up events allow you to come up with an idea, plan, and host an alumnae event on your own. As the host, we’ll send you everything you’ll need to put on a successful Gwynedd Pop Up Party – nametags, registration lists, Gwynedd giveaways, and more.
How does it work?
First, share your idea for an event with the Advancement Office. Once the Gwynedd Pop Up Party is approved, you’ll essentially be the event planner! You’ll be the main point of contact for Advancement Office and will help encourage Monarchs to attend. Here’s what you’ll do:
-Work with a venue, confirm the date, and provide details to Advancement Office about 6-8 weeks prior to the date of the event.
-Help coordinate additional details like food orders, drink specials, and parking
-Invite other Gwynedd Girls and encourage them to register. Promote through social media.
-Reach out to fellow alumnae individually (Advancement can provide you with a list) and let them know about the opportunity.
-Get to the event early to set up, decorate with Gwynedd spirit, and welcome and check in guests as they arrive.
Provide a list of attendees, photos, and an event recap to Advancement afterwards.
How does the Gwynedd Advancement Office help?
Once we’ve got the necessary details, we’ll:
-Create an event page and registration form on the Alumnae website.
-Promote the event through an invitation email.
-Mail you a box of Gwynedd spirit items.
-Send you a final attendee list and custom peel-and-stick nametags for the event.
