Each spring semester, the Philippine Culture Night Directors

come together to produce a show that highlights important issues in the Philippines and in the Filipino-American society. We incorporate modern and traditional culture dances, Filipino culture, and GMU FCA’s three pillars: Culture, Diversity, and Family.

This year’s Philippine Culture Night presents a story of an ailing mother and her well-intentioned son, Allen. The Alon family has increasingly been distant as the mother’s health continues to degrade. No cure is thought to be present until one day, Allen’s best friend, Lena suggested they visit a spiritual guide. With this opportunity, Allen seeks to find a cure while inadvertently learning more about himself and his Filipino culture.

Directed by: Paolo Tiong & Vincent Simons

After the show, we will be revealing GMU FCA's Executive Board (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary) for the 2018-2019 school year!

For any questions, please contact any of the FCA Officers or email us at gmu.fca@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
