We are hosting a fundraiser benefit and auction to support James Middleton and family as he battles cancer. Please join us in Sussex on February 17th to help us help them!
James and his wife Laura, along with their twin boys, are facing a challenging situation in every sense of the word. James recently
received a terrifying diagnosis of stage 4 cancer which has quickly metastasized into his lungs and liver, among other areas. Having never smoked a day in his life, James and his family are in shock to be facing such a diagnosis at the young age of 37.
James has positively impacted thousands of children throughout his career as a teacher. He currently teaches at Sussex High School but also spent nine years teaching at Sussex Middle School. James is one of those people who always has a smile on his face and an optimistic outlook on life. He is a wonderful husband, father, brother, teacher, and friend. This is an extremely challenging time in their lives and his family needs our support. Your participation will help alleviate some of the stress caused by the financial burden of cancer and will assist with treatment costs as well as provide them with the means to spend more quality time together during the fight of their lives.
If you are unable to attend the fundraiser, but would still like to make a monetary contribution to James and his family, you can make donations online via our Go Fund Me page at https://www.gofundme.com/help-support-james-middleton
We will also be accepting donations of items or baked goods for our auction, if you would like to help contribute in that way as well. Auction items in the Sussex area can be dropped off at the Sunshine House Financial Centre at 451 Main St, Sussex (care of Ed Keith) during regular business hours. For auction donations in the Greater Moncton area please contact Jill Emeno for further info. Any and all support is greatly appreciated!
