Join PVCC and Beloved Community C-Ville for a free screening of the documentary “I’m Not Racist…Am I?” on Feb. 28 in the Main Building Auditorium, room M229, on PVCC’s Main Campus.
“I'm Not Racist... Am I?” is a feature documentary following a diverse group of teens through a year-long exploration
to get at the heart of racism. Over the course of the film, the teens engage in difficult conversations with friends and parents, conversations that ultimately affect their relationships and challenge them to look deep within themselves. By the end of their time together, these remarkable young people develop deeper bonds, a stronger resolve and a bigger, more significant definition of racism than anyone could ever have imagined.
The event is free and is open to students, faculty, staff and the public. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. A facilitated discussion will immediately follow the screening. Food will be provided.
The screening is sponsored by the PVCC Writing Club, the PVCC Office of Student Engagement and Student Life, the PVCC Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the PVCC President’s Office.
