Are you looking for a challenge in 2016? How about abseiling down the iconic Forth Rail Bridge for Age Scotland?
Age Scotland is delighted to be one of the two main charities at this fantastic annual event. Organised by the Rotary Club of South Queensferry, you will have a unique opportunity to abseil
165ft SAS style (freefall) from the Forth Rail Bridge onto the beach below. It is a real adrenaline rush for the daring and the ultimate challenge for the rest of us!
No previous experience is necessary to take part in the Forth Bridge Abseil and it is suitable for everyone over the age of sixteen. A team of highly skilled instructors from the Glasgow Climbing Centre will ensure that you are equipped with all you need to make your abseil as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Entry is £30 with an agreement to raise an additional minimum £160 of sponsorships which is very achievable and Age Scotland’s fundraising team are on hand to support you with your sponsorship and fundraising efforts.
All money raised goes towards older people in communities across Scotland to help enable them to Love Later Life.
Sound like the perfect challenge for you?
