On the evening of Saturday, September 30th, Peter Baergen Warkentin was playing hockey with his friends when he went headfirst into the boards, breaking three vertebrae and paralyzing his body from the chest down. The last few weeks have been extremely challenging for Peter and his family, and that is
why we wanted to organize a night for everyone (kids welcome!) to come together to show their support and love for our Sweet Pete.
To that end, Peter’s partner Samantha is rounding up her circus friends and a variety of other folks for a spectacular night of interactive art, games, snacks, clowns, contortion, performance, and live music in the gorgeous Skyview Ballroom in downtown Winnipeg. There will also be a massive raffle with incredible prizes including a newly built bicycle from Natural Cycle!
Here are the details:
Where: The Skyview Ballroom in the Marlborough Hotel, 331 Smith Street
When: Doors open at 6:45, kid-friendly interactive art and games from 7:00- 8:00pm
