The Matheson History Museum is honored to partner with the City of Gainesville City Beautification Board to host a celebration of Florida Arbor Day on Thursday, January 21 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
This event will include the planting of 64 trees, two for each of the 32 years Gainesville has participated
in the Tree City USA program. Trees will be planted along Sweetwater Branch and in the newly constructed medians along SE 2nd Avenue.
This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available on the east side of the Matheson History Museum, as well as the Law Office of Attorneys Folds and Walker, and the Kirby Smith Administration Center. For more information call 352-378-2280 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
