In the workshop you will learn about goal setting, financial fitness, credit worthiness, working with a lender, what an affordable mortgage is, working with a Realtor, the home inspection, responsibilities of being a successful homeowner & more!
THIS INFORMATIVE THREE-PART WORKSHOP IS A REQUIREMENT
FOR THOSE SEEKING ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE CITY OF ELMIRA’S FIRST TIME HOME BUYER PROGRAM.
The Workshops are scheduled as followed:
Tuesday, January 19 | 6 - 9 PM | Part I
Thursday, January 21 | 6 - 9 PM | Part II
Tuesday, January 26 | 6 - 9 PM | Part III
(Attendance to Part I, II and III is required to receive a certificate of completion.)
We welcome a $15 donation to help cover the cost of materials for the training.
The workshop will be held at Catholic Charities, 215 E. Church Street, Suite 102, Elmira. The parking lot is in the back of the building (access parking through old State Street at the corner of Second Street and Clemens Parkway). Please enter through the back door from the parking lot.

Please note: the down-payment assistant grant is only for purchase in the City of Elmira - but anyone is welcome at the workshop.
