Tasting Notes
Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion - Reception
Style: American IPA (5.9% ABV)
Notes: This beer is part of a brand new rotating experimental hop series. The hop used in this particular

brew has been described as displaying notes of melon, citrus fruit with a subtle hint of pine. The goal from this series is to allow the hops to truly shine without an overpowering malt profile.

Firestone Walker Bretta Weisse
Style: Berliner Weisse (4.5% ABV)
Notes: Bretta Weisse honors the traditional beverage of the great Prussian capital, Berlin. Fredrick-the-Great was trained to brew it, and Napoleon’s troops called it “The champagne of the North”. Firm estery notes of stone and tropical fruit lead to Funky, yeasty, citrus aromas. Soft cereal and Oak flavors are enveloped by a firm acidity and tartness. The finish is dry and crisp; a thoroughly enjoyable beverage. This Berliner Weisse inspired Wheat beer was aged in 1700 gal French Oak horizontal foeders for 8 months.

Firestone Walker Union Jack
Style: American IPA (7.5% ABV)
Notes: This well balanced, west coast IPA is dry hopped three separate times, with each lot giving it more and more of the grapefruit citrus hop aroma and flavor it is known for. Overall, it utilizes over four pounds of Pacific Northwest hops per barrel making it one of the finest IPAs in the country.

Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin (NITRO)
Style: Oatmeal Stout (5.5% ABV)
Notes: This is decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. Partially aged in bourbon barrels, this beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer.

Firestone Walker Unfiltered Double Barrel Ale
Style: ESB (5% ABV)
Notes: A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. Firestone honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent by using their patented Firestone Union oak barrels. 100% of this version was fermented in American oak barrels and unfiltered. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops.

Firestone Walker XIX Anniversary
Style: American Strong Ale (13.8 ABV)
Notes: As a finished beer, XIX is a rich, chocolaty, chewy brew with brandy-soaked raisin and holiday fruitcake flavors. The blend is anchored by equal parts Stickee Monkee and Parabola, which combine to create a dense chocolate truffle-like base. Velvet Merkin and Bravo lend their spicy oak, leather and fruity accents to complete the brew. The beer is unfiltered and unfined so there will be a small amount of sediment in the bottom.
