F*ck this Sh*t 500 leaves Prescott on February 24th. Brace yourself, it will be a bit chilly at night, maybe in the day too. There could be snow. You will have to hike your bike, you will have to wade across a river. You will also visit the Verde Hot Springs, then you will be punished with a horrendous
climb that will leave you swearing F*CK THIS SH*T!!!
The route travels from Prescott to Congress, Alamo Lake, Bagdad, Chino Valley, Jerome, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Verde Hot Springs, Mayer, Crown King, and back to Prescott. Approximately 500 miles, 42,000'+ elevation gain.
Water treatment and/or filter is highly suggested.
This is not a group ride, this is a fully self-supported ultra-endurance event. Standard ultra rules apply, no outside assistance, you are required to carry all food and camping gear. GPS is required, back up is suggested. SPOT tracker or equivalent recommended, with enough interest, we will get a Trackleaders page.
The route is still in the verification stage, if you are interested in helping scout, please contact me.
