The next Fayetteville OutFront Community Meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. in the Bill Hefner Elementary School multipurpose room, located in the Montibello neighborhood in western Fayetteville off Cliffdale Road. The exact address is 7059 Calamar Drive.
Residents will have the opportunity
to ask questions and provide feedback about City services to the City’s senior management team, including City Manager Ted Voorhees. Additionally, for the first time in the history of the Fayetteville OutFront community meetings, Fort Bragg Garrison Commander Col. Brett Funck will represent the military post at the meeting, should anyone have questions about the Fort Bragg community.
The format is interactive and engaging and is designed to invite residents’ ideas and dialogue and answer questions about the community.
“As with our last community meeting in November, we want to make it easier for citizens to engage with us. So if citizens cannot attend the meeting in person, we are encouraging them to participate virtually and submit their questions to us via Facebook,” said Kevin V. Arata, City of Fayetteville Corporate Communications Director. “We will provide periodic updates to our Facebook page throughout the meeting and will answer all questions on Facebook that are asked online.”
Residents can attend the aforementioned Facebook town hall by logging onto Facebook, liking City of Fayetteville, NC Government and selecting the town hall meeting under Events.
These community meetings are held every other month in a different area of the city. To read more about the City of Fayetteville, visit us at www.FayettevilleNC.gov.
