This week we celebrate Setsubun, a Japanese
holiday marking the transition from winter to spring. We’ll be celebrating with traditional kamishibai storytelling, taiko drumming, and oni mask making. The afternoon will end with mame maki, or bean throwing, to drive out evil and bring good luck!
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, this programming will take place in the Dixon Room at the Horticultural Center; a 5 minute walk from Shofuso Japanese House and Garden.
