May the 4th be with you......

An uncompromising line up of 3 Techno heavyweights from around the world come together for this intimate night in the city.

Truncate //

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early

90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouses, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the moniker Audio Injection, which landed on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 and continues today as a resident at the infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases have been gaining critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink! for Pets Recordings, Slam for Soma, Trus’me for Prime Numbers, Josh Wink for Boyznoise, Ellen Alien for BPitch, and Carl Cox for Mood. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic and Figure as a collaboration with Jimmy Edgar, Blueprint Recordings and of course Truncate.

A rigorous international tour schedule has followed, including included stops at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam and Output in New York.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

Cari Lekebusch //

A leading figure in the second generation of techno producers to emerge from the electronic music explosion of the early 1990ʼs, Cari Lekebusch has sustained a twenty-five-year career in music through an unwavering commitment to quality and an unquenchable desire to constantly move things forward. Always enjoying inspired periods of productivity, Lekebusch releases his sound architectures on a consistent basis. Received with universal praise from press and peers alike; the relevance to the modern music market of his twentieth studio album in his twenty plus years as a recording artist has proven, that Cari Lekebuschʼs reputation as an enduring and proactive force within the techno community is rock solid; maintaining his profile within a scene he was partly responsible for creating.

Joel Mull //

Started to DJ and produce in 1993, Joel Mull's career spans over two decades.
He has released music on labels worldwide and along with Cari Lekebusch, Robert Leiner, Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlbäck he counts to the first wave of Swedish techno producer who became known around the world as the "Swedish techno sound".
In the mid 90's Joel moved to Hamburg and worked as a resident DJ for 3 years at one of the biggest techno clubs in Germany, Unit Club. This was an important period for him and as a DJ with the many hours in DJ booth; It learned him how to control the energy of the night on the dancefloor, from warm-up sets to 10h marathon sets.

As a producer, he is constantly active and has released over 100 releases and under various names such as Icarus and latest Gotzkowsky on the label Dystopian.
Joel is constantly touring and travelling around the world, almost every weekend and playing at the main clubs and festivals in the scene.
2018 starting off with a collab with Dustin Zahn, solo EP early spring and later this year a collab EP with Heiko Laux. All ending up the label Parabel.

Factor endeavours to break through the original by dropping all commercial restrictions surrounding events to date. The evening will be solely in the hands of the artists, allowing them to drive the night in whichever direction they please.
