It’s time to celebrate! Save the date for the Bilbys end of season awards night taking place on Saturday, 19 May 2018 at Teddy Picker’s, Campbell.
Traditionally, the Club celebrates the end of the triathlon season with a party involving delicious food, a variety of beverages, awards galore and as much
fun as you can handle.
The end of season awards night is a highlight on the Bilbys social calendar because it provides an opportunity for the Club to:
- Celebrate the outstanding achievements of our members during the racing season
- Recognise our newest novice members in the Club
- Acknowledge the generous contribution of our committee members who share their time and talents with the Club
- Thank our coaches and sponsors for their commitment and support to the Club.
This year is a special one as the Club celebrates its 30th birthday. This is a significant milestone that the committee would like to acknowledge and celebrate.
Preparations are underway to look back at how the Club began and grew to become the success that it is today.
If you are a founding member or you know someone that has been a Bilby for ten, twenty or thirty years, we’d love to hear from you! Please get in touch with the Bilbys Social Reps, Aoife Connors and Petra Lean.
Start thinking about the awards too. Nominations will open soon. Is there someone who stands out in your mind as a worthy recipient of ‘Novice of the Year’ or ‘Club member of the Year’?
Perhaps you have a fun story or great memory to share about your involvement with the Club, please get in touch!
This season was filled with success on the triathlon course for many Bilbys from competing to volunteering and officiating at events. So let’s celebrate your achievements and in doing that we’d love you to join us in singing a very happy 30th birthday to our club.
Tickets are limited so don't miss out; book early! Booking details are published in the Bilbys weekly club newsletter.
