Dune Rats + Wavves & Hockey Dad & Waax in Sydney

ON SALE MONDAY JULY 17

ALL AGES - PUBLIC HOLIDAY EVE

After finally rolling home from a 6 month non-stop world tour, including 69 shows around the globe, a Number 1 ARIA Album, and capturing the whole train wreck for Dunies TV Season 2, Dune Rats are immediately hatching plans for you to grab your

best mates, watch a few of your favourite bands and do it ALL again.

Dune Rats are proud to announce their biggest ever Australian National Tour with very special guests Wavves (U.S.A), Hockey Dad and Waax. The tour will take the line up into to some of the best venues in the country including the Tivoli in Brisbane, the Big Top at Luna Park Sydney, and The Forum in Melbourne and HQ in Adelaide.

"When we've played these monster rooms previously, it was opening for Violent Soho or The Hives. Now getting booked to do them as headliner and doing it with not just Wavves, but our good mates Hockey Dad and fellow Brissy lords WAAX is a complete mind melt." Dune Rats BC Michaels and Danny Beusa comment.

"This tour is such an awesome way to bring home and celebrate what's been the best year of our lives in Dune Rats/ ever. There's going to be some big skits stuff go down at these shows and we're going to smash out the biggest show we can possibly put on". Capping it off bass player Brett Jansh says "I gotta cop this one from the pit, does someone else wanna play bass for me?"

WAVVES (USA)
Off the back releasing their new album You're Welcome and supporting Blink 182 around American arenas earlier this year Californian band Wavves are heading down under to support Australia's very own Dune Rats. "Having USA legends Wavves on the tour is a complete trip out" explains Dune Rats drummer, BC. Vocalist Danny comments “It's blown our minds that when we all started playin’ shows at house party's back in the day, Wavves were getting smashed in the stereo in the room next door, now we're we're gonna be on tour with ‘em". Bass player Brett Jansch adds "We have friends with Dunies and Wavves tattoos, they are gonna flip out!"

HOCKEY DAD
After selling out headline shows across the country, touring main support for Grinspoon’s 20 year anniversary and gearing up for a set on the main stage at Splendour, Hockey Dad will be in fine form for these massive shows. "We toured across Canada with Hockey Dad earlier this year. They were always either wasted or asleep. It was classic!”– Brett jokes.

WAAX
Earlier this year single 'Same Same' got an absolute thrashing on Triple J and their current ‘Wild and Weak’ tour is selling like hot cakes!

"Waax from our hometown Brisbane are a new favourite band of ours. They just dropped a ripper new EP (Wild and Weak), looking forward to catching them every night" says BC and Bret.
