Hong Kong is an intense, eclectic city that draws millions of visitors annually thanks to its fascinating blend of modern culture and ancient tradition. And thanks to the city’s Chinese roots and British colonial background, there’s also an amazing range of historical, military and contemporary landmarks.

Don’t forget your camera! You’re sure to get an interesting perspective on Hong Kong on this amazing DreamBreak. With your complimentary ticket, you’ll board an authentic wooden sailing junk for a tour as you relive days gone by. Fully restored, this former fishing boat cruises Victoria Harbour while passengers learn about the history of these vessels. You’ll sail by downtown skyscrapers, past rugged coastlines, in and out of bays, and around islets of the Hong Kong archipelago.

Back on land, there’s no shortage of entertainment and sights to see for guests interested in exploring Hong Kong — everything from opera to glitzy malls, and from sprawling parks to museums — earning the city the nickname, “Asia’s World City.” The sky100 observation deck offers unforgettable views of the cityscape and Victoria Harbour, while the Ladies Market features clothing, accessories and souvenirs along the 0.6-mile (1-kilometer) stretch of stalls. Try your hand at bargaining for the best deals and a street-side snack. Or, you could venture to another landmark at Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island, Yick Cheong Building (Monster Building ). This 1960s complex comprises 5 towering buildings of stacked apartments, and its colorful exterior and unusual symmetry draw photographers from all over the world.

What we love:
• The Star Ferry fleet transports tens of thousands of passengers every day between Hong Kong Island and the mainland at Kowloon.
• Indulge your sweet tooth with an included slice of cake with coffee or tea at your hotel’s Corner Cafe, an eatery dedicated to pastries, cakes and chocolates.
• Access DT Local on the DreamTrips app and get suggestions from our membership community on participating restaurants, spas, entertainment options and other activities near you.
