Art Activity: Sketching in the Galleries
6:00–6:45 p.m., European Galleries, Level 2
Sketch figure studies with a ballerina from Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet, and enjoy a special viewing of Ballet Dancers on the Stage by Edgar Degas. A local artist will be on hand to share sketching techniques with you.

Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Curator Line Clausen Pedersen will discuss the paintings and pastels by Edgar Degas owned by the DMA, which, while different in motif and material, offer fascinating insights into Degas's studio practice, a place of playful experimentation and great surprises.
