A man of reinvention, Scuba’s crossed genres over the years evolving into one of Europe’s most influential and durable figures in dance music.
Alongside his acclaimed SUB:STANCE parties at Berghain and a relentless touring schedule, his position has been further cemented via plentiful releases on imprints
such as Aus and his own label Hotflush. This year saw him bring out his fourth album Claustrophobia; showing more than ever his dramatic approach to techno – a blueprint for his residency.
Playing every Saturday in January, February and March, Scuba has enlisted a powerful roster of talent to play alongside him. For round two, Scuba is joined by Swiss techno enthusiast Deetron, whose productions glow with the kind of warmth and emotion that show a deep passion for the sounds of Detroit. Fittingly, he is joined by the motor city’s own enfant terrible Jimmy Edgar, whose hyper-sexualised electro tracks have slowly been replaced by a more brittle and bone dry approach to house and techno which he champions today. We Play The Music We Love take control of room 2 all night, with sets from Marcelo Tag, Lenka and Agnes.
