Cyclone 24 Wales is back for it's fourth year! The ultimate in cycling challenges where riders face the task of staying awake for 24 hours, battling physical exhaustion and mental fatigue, as they take to the velodrome track in teams of six to relay cycle throughout the 24 hour time period. It’s a real
challenge of strength, determination and team spirit.
Ride to raise money for your chosen charity, bond your employees and clients, ride in your cycle club or simply to achieve something extraordinary!
You will need 6 people in your team, this can be a team of friends, clients, work colleagues, cycling club or a mixture of all. Once registered we will invite your team to one of our private track induction and training sessions, where you’ll be given expert guidance and advice from Head Development Coach, Garrie Tillett at the Wales National Velodrome. Full support before and during the event is provided for those who are new to the track.
You’ll also receive a Welcome Pack and Rider Manual which contain all the information you need to survive the 24 hour challenge.
On event day, we provide bikes, helmets, electronic lap counters, mechanical support, physio support, energy nutrition, track coach guidance, refreshments, on site facilities - changing rooms, showers etc, free parking, free entry for spectators, those all important Finishers Medals and a trophy for the team who cover the most laps. We've also launched The Corporate Cup this year, awarded to the corporate team who cover the most laps (must be 4 or more employees from one business in the team) and a trophy for the team with the best kit (as chosen by the velodrome coaches).
Team entry is £900 for a team of 6 - for full details of the challenge please visit our web site www.cyclone24.co.uk or contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
