Spreading the seeds of compassion!
Focus on compassion while spending time with others who are interested in connecting in a compassionate way. You'll learn to develop skills of Compassionate Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as developed by Marshall Rosenberg. These practices enhance mindfulness in thinking
and speaking in a way that contributes to connection and getting everyone’s needs met. Weather permitting, we'll enjoy a campfire on Friday evening with guitar played by Tamara Lebak and songs for the heart!
At this retreat, you'll experience:
Communication practices that include role plays, skits for "live" practice of observations, feelings, needs, and requests
Mindfulness exercises and guided meditation
Learning to demonstrate compassion through language, transforming your human consciousness for a more aware life
