On Tuesday, January 26, 2016, a COMMUNITY MEETING will be held to discuss the results of the Alabama Communities of Excellence (ACE) Community Assessment. The meeting will be held in the Matthews Lecture Hall (Room H105) of the Harold Wade Math & Science Building at Bevill State Community College –
Jasper Campus (805 14th Street E) beginning at 6:30PM. At that time, members of Jasper’s ACE Leadership Team will present the report from the assessment that was conducted during September 2015. THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
The Alabama Communities of Excellence (ACE) program uses a comprehensive, three-phase approach to assist participating communities in planning and preparing for a more vibrant future. Throughout each of these phases, ACE partners from the private sector, government agencies and universities work with each community to successfully achieve its goals.
During the meeting, the findings and recommendations of the Leadership Team concerning our local leadership, planning, economic development and quality of life will be reviewed and discussed. As we move from Phase I (Assessment) into Phase II (Leadership Development and Strategic Planning), it is vital that our community is informed, supportive and engaged. To that end, please share information concerning this meeting with as many Jasper residents as possible.
If you have any questions or need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Tana L Collins (Public Information Director, City of Jasper, Alabama) at your convenience. She can be reached at 205.221.8529. Thank you for your support and community involvement.
