Join Cycle Toronto for our annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride! This year's ride will begin at Alexander the Great Parkette (Logan & Danforth), then take us along the Danforth, where our active Danforth Loves Bikes group is working to make protected bike lanes on the Danforth a reality, before heading
south along Sherbourne - Toronto's very first protected bike lane.
We'll meet at 11:30am to kick things off with a few words before leaving at noon for a short, family-friendly ride (approx. 7km). After the ride, we'll warm up at Betty's on King East near Sherbourne to catch up and have some food and drink (optional).
Both the start and end points are subway accessible and the route map is available on our event page: https://www.cycleto.ca/event/coldest-day-year-ride-2018
Don't have a bike to ride? No problem! Bike Share Toronto encourages winter cycling with free extra time on all trips during the Coldest Day of the Year Ride. Check out their map to find your closest station: https://bikesharetoronto.com/system-map/
