Fees are associated with various lots in the Downtown Cleveland area. Please see the parking guide for several nearby parking locations.

How do Badge Boosters Work?
Each Badge Booster is tailored to meet the bolded text (requirements) listed for the badge identified. If a badge requires your councilors permission, please obtain it prior to June 2, 2018. With the exception of Urban Walkabouts, every program takes place inside the Armory. Urban Walkabouts will take place around downtown Cleveland. All programs are led by volunteers. We plan to accommodate all preregistered participants. Unregistered scouts, however, cannot be guaranteed space in limited tours, veteran and architect interviews, or Heritage Activities that require special staffing. Please see each Badge Booster for a description and preregistration requirements.

Preregistration for interviews and guided walkabouts is required. Please register by May 12, 2018. Limited spots are available. Once the spots are taken, accommodations cannot be guaranteed. Only preregistered individuals will be guaranteed the opportunity to participate in excursions, interviews, or badge boosters identified with “preregistration required.” In order to ensure that we provide the necessary staffing, please make sure you register all scouts and adults for your program.

With the exception of the Behind the Scenes at Playhouse Square Tour which meets at KeyBank State Theatre lobby, all registered participants meet inside the Armory. Interviewees and afternoon walkabouts must sign-in at the Heritage Welcome Table 15 minutes prior to each scheduled activity. If you do not sign-in, your spot may be awarded to scouts on the waiting list. Hikers should dress for the weather. All scouts must be accompanied by a supervising adult, observe traffic safety regulations, Leave No Trace Principles, and observe the buddy system.

Is there a Cost?
Admission to the Armory is free. Badge Boosting Activities are free. Parking
lots in and around the area charge various fees. Limited snacks may be available for purchase on Cornerstone Day (snack information not available at the time of this printing).

Do I have to attend the program with my scout or troop?
YES. Please be aware, Cleveland Grays Armory Cornerstone is not a drop-off program. Cornerstone is a one-day, family-friendly event that is open to the public. Scouts should attend with a parent, adult guardian or den leader. Most activities in the Heritage Area are designed for independent achievement. Volunteer assistance may be on-hand, but in most cases, scouts will NOT be monitored. Scouts preregistered for Wolf Adventure—Finding your Way and Wolf Adventure—Paws on the Path will receive a Walkabout Leader. Upon arrival, scouts preregistered for interviews must sign-in and select times to meet with veterans or architects.
