In keeping with family tradition, Michael constantly strives to achieve high levels of excellence. Michael has been has been performing since 1969, and by the time he was 21 years old, he had already toured the world with his act. He got his career start by touring with the world famous HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS variety show where he did two US tours, three European tours, and two world tours.
In the 1970's, Michael and the family troupe were performing regularly on cruise ships, having already tapped this new venue for juggling acts long before the cruise ship boom. Sometimes they performed on ships with no dressing rooms, no backstage area and ceiling heights under 7 ft. They were true pioneers in every sense. Michael himself was the first juggler to perform a backward roll / somersault while spinning a ball in each hand, and a third ball balanced on a mouth stick. Michael has worked every type of venue a variety act can, including Cruise Ships, Night Spots, Revue Shows, Theaters, Circuses, and Sport Shows. Other highlights include opening for Debbie Reynolds numerous times, performing for Princess Grace at the Circus Festival of Monaco, and performing on The Dinah Shore Show.
