Chautauqua: Women Airforce Service Pilots

Women Airforce Service Pilots by Carol Cain of the WASP Museum

In the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, the Chautauqua Movement spread throughout the rural United States. Chautauqua provided educational lectures and entertainment for average Americans before they advent of mass media such as radio

and television.

In continuing with the educational mission of the Village, we are proud to offer to the public our acclaimed Chautauqua Learning Series.

The Series takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11am at the Village. The program is free to the public and includes free admission to the Village for the day.
