Bollywood Dance is a colourful and vibrant form of modern Indian dance. Inspired by the high energy music of Bollywood Movies, this form of dance uses vibrant, cheeky yet graceful choreographed moves that are a sure way to have a great workout and lots of fun!
Each class starts with a warm up using
isolations, followed by some of the basic Indian “mudras” (traditional hand gestures) & facial expressions, feature Bollywood dance steps, technique and a stretch. We will then learn a fun choreographed dance routine during the course focusing also on postures and fitness.
Suitable for anyone who wants to experience Bollywood dancing, a new culture, get fit in a fun way, build up confidence, and meet new friends!
*Suitable for beginner levels (no prior dance experience required).

Venue: North Shore Gym. Level 1 Market Square, 24-28 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove.

What to wear: Comfortable workout clothes, barefoot or with supportive sports/dance shoes. Ladies, if you would like to get into the Bollywood theme, feel free to wear bangles, bindis (forehead stickers) long flowing skirts and scarves (dupattas)!
