A mini series for students new to Kundalini Yoga providing an opportunity to learn the basics and build a firm foundation for your future practice.
We will explore this ancient technology for the modern world through specific practices: pranayama (breathwork), movement (kriyas), mudras (hand gestures),
meditation and mantras.
In this Beginners taster we will cover the basics of Kundalini yoga and meditation with a strong focus on learning to cope with Stress as this is the biggest challenge of the age we live in. Luckily there are many simple yet powerful techniques to help us and some excellent ways to achieve deep relaxation to rid the body of accumulated tension. And we explore a range of breathing techniques for specific purposes.
Tonight we focus on the balance of Prana & Apana
and a meditation to support you through life changes
which stimulates the meridians and enhances memory.
