Basics of Birding - Sibley Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture

Our friends at Sibley just contacted me to let me know that the January Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture will be something age appropriate and exciting for our kids! The program usually lasts one hour, but there will be an optional birding excursion at the Sibley Center and the I-20 Wildlife Preserve. This

event is open to everyone.

Join us for a visit from Kyle O'Haver, the Superintendent at Lake Colorado City State Park. Learn all about the basics of birding and take a look around Sibley Nature Center to discover some of the birds we see here. There is also an optional visit to I-20 Wildlife Preserve after that to look for more birds! Please bring your binoculars if you have a pair. This is a free program and all ages are welcome.
