Blazin’ M Ranch Welcomes Back the Bar D Wranglers this April
Blazin’ M Ranch in Cottonwood is proud to announce another special performance by the nationally renowned Bar D Wranglers! For one night only, Wednesday, April 25th, 2018, the popular Bar D Wranglers will entertain with their high-energy,
hour-long stage show at the Blazin’ M Chuckwagon supper and show venue, performing songs of cowboys and the Old West, comedy, and lively instrumentals sure to please the entire family.
This popular group will dispense its special brand of western music and down-home comedy, as it has done since 1969 on their home stage in Durango, Colorado. The group has performed for over 2.5 million guests at their Durango location as well as countless other stages and venues around the United States. The Wranglers continue their tradition nightly throughout the summer months in Durango and are celebrating “50 Years on the Trail” at the Bar D Chuckwagon this year!
The Bar D Wranglers include two-time national flat pick champion and tenor, Gary Cook, who will be inducted into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame this summer, Matt Palmer, who plays a hot fiddle and sings baritone, funny-man and upright bass player, Joel Racheff and Richard Lee Cody, who rounds out the group with lead vocals and rhythm guitar.
“We welcome back the Bar D Wranglers to Cottonwood,” says Lori Mabery, Managing Partner for Mabery Ranch Company. “We are pleased and proud to have them on stage here again at the ranch and thrilled that they could find time in their busy touring schedule to stop by. Fifty years in business at their Durango location speaks volumes to the crowd-pleasing entertainment and high quality talent they bring to all performances! We invite locals, visitors and Bar D fans to come see this outstanding show.”
The Bar D Wranglers’ Show has been awarded a 2014 Certificate of Excellence by the Trip Advisor organization. A local favorite with the Verde Valley Concert Association over the past decade, the Wranglers never fail to fill the hall, so book tickets now for this one-night special performance.
Along with their delicious BBQ supper, all the traditional Blazin’ M pre (and post)-show activities will still be available including shopping, roping lessons, tractor-pulled wagon rides, Copper Spur Saloon, Red Garter Old-Tyme Photo Studio and visits to the farm critters in the field.
Blazin’ M strives to keep its entertainment fresh and lively and the Bar D Wranglers group is just one of the special events in the near future. Also, mark your calendars for the return of the popular cowgirl, comedy-drama musical, Hot Flashes on the Trail, which returns for 6 Sundays in March and April.
