Bad Luck Magazine are proud to be working alongside Bristol Psych Fest to bring you the opening party of this year's festival.
Born during the summer of 2016, Creatures are brought to you by William Yates, lead vocalist, who signals the return of the out-and-out performer, channelling 1950s
crooner style elegant vocals, against heavy and hypnotic desert riffs from William Sherkle, lead guitarist, and the inimitable Bobby Voltaire provides drums – all accompanied by multi layered, subtle intricacies from Josh Ambler on percussion, organ and rhythm guitar. Creatures’ first live outing saw them handpicked to perform at Rough Trade’s sold-out 40th anniversary celebration in Paris last winter. Performing alongside Temples, the Kettering four-piece were subsequently quick to snap Creatures up as main support for their recent UK and European tour.
The Hungry Ghosts
Slaughterhouse blues & trash country, music from the other side of the fence.
Bristol garage 4 piece combine elements of punk and sleazy psychedelia into a raw and energetic stew.
Arno - Band
Emerging from the depths of the new year in 2018, reaching far into the shadows of Italy and Cornwall to finally combine in Bristol. Psychedelic rock band Arno became the first group to conquer the Challenger Deep and resurface with what they call 'the new sound'.
Now they play round Bristol and the UK hoping to tell the tale in the form of music, with influences from Tame Impala, BJM, King Gizzard, Klaus Johann Grobe and Wand.
