It's back! For 2 nights only Almost A Psychopath is at the Sydney Comedy Festival. Last time we had to turn people away at the door, so get your tickets fast!
Sophie Long is pretty sure that if things had been a little different she could have grown up to be a psychopath. Feeling acutely different
from other kids, she pushed down the weird and hid behind a superficially charming alter ego, got a little too interested in serial killers and, of course, wet the bed until late in life.
She even trained as a clown.
At that point it seemed statistically improbable that dead bodies would not be turning up. So what happened?
Including theories and real-life case studies from Dahmer to Freud, this show looks at what it is that makes us evil, the masks we hide behind, and why you should always kick men on crutches.
And it’s cool, she isn’t really a psychopath.
Although, isn’t that exactly what a psychopath would say?
