Mentally ILL
– Albany, NY

WARNING: This dj may cause massive brain damage and could affect your mental health. A frontal lobotomy may be necessary for those who have been exposed to his lunacy. He may become violent at the sight of a net. Do not stand too close if he's not in restraints and if you knock the needles out of the groove while he's performing, you should run for your life!!!
Just in from the funny farm, Mentally ILL has prepared to deliver you a mind-altering bass heavy set. A 15 year patient of the Tech 1200 program, Mentally ILL has gripped on to reality just long enough to figure out how to converse with turntables and dj equipment everywhere in order to manipulate their every move. So put on your helmets and tighten your straightjackets and be ready to take a journey into the mind of a mad man. The voices in his head are saying that it's gonna get heavy and dirty. No matter what genre he chooses to attempt to brainwash you with, he is definitely committed…..or at least he will be again soon. Watch out for the men in white!!!
In the past he has broken out of countless mental wards to play in places such as NYC, Syracuse, Utica, Rochester, Buffalo and a number of other upstate NY locations. He has repeatedly crossed state lines, ILLegally, to play in CT, MA, VT, MD, NV, CA and even made it out of the states and all the way up to Canada to spread his insanity before the voices caught up with him and told him to return. Being from Albany he has played a key role in keeping the e.d.m. scene alive in the 518, by holding several weeklies and monthlies in the area over the years. In the past he and a band of nutters that went by the name of Massive Audio, which he was a co-founder of, brought you the Eidolon parties (aka-Haunted Castle Parties). Currently he has been focusing on organizing recreational events for like minded individuals, such as Bass Fix at Red Square in Albany NY, under the supervision of DNBC of course. His style has broadened over the last few years, causing him to delve into multiple personalities….. err…I mean multiple genres. These genres include, but are not limited to, Dubstep, Electro, Bassline and Trap, but more commonly and his most preferred way of getting inside your head is through DnB and Drumstep. No matter what, he always keeps the bass heavy and the beats fresh. People in the crowd have been known to leave venues questioning their own sanity. He has also been known to rock the decks with fellow DNBC member and long time friend, The Queen of Mean, better known as Leila. Put the two of them on stage together, and there’s no telling what level of madness will incur. Bad Manners are sure to ensue!! Other artists Mentally ILL has shared stages with include: Adam F, Dieselboy, KJ Sawka, Freaky Flow, Reid Speed, Tantrum Desire, Downlink, Run DMT, Getter, Protohype, Helicopter Showdown, Concord Dawn, Mathematics, Breakage, Glue, Odi, I-Cue, Dara, Vandal, Danny The Wildchild, Megalodon, Jackal & Hyde, Terravita, J.Rabbit, St8cyde Jump Up, Hokilla, Jayline, Macky Gee, Orchard Lounge, DrFameus, Particle, Psylab, Lotus, Jeff Bujak, Cosmic Dust Bunnies, Manhattan Project, Digital Frontier, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Future Rock, EOTO, The Pnuma Trio, Break Science, Big Gigantic, Paul Nice, Jason Ellis, QBert, KRS-1 and many more, but his "head meds" kicked in before he was able to fully recollect every performance. To be continued…

Deejay Starkey
(Scorched am, Scientific sound, After-Hours sessions, Kikwear, Rhythm Alliance, and Reunion)
-Bridgeport, CT

DeeJay STARkey has went from a bedroom backyard BBQ DJ to playing small stages, to headlining music festivals to holding residency in night clubs and being a featured artist on KIKWEAR morning mixes. During his travels he has spun with some of the worlds best DJs. Opening, headlining to closing out dance floors. DeeJay STARkey takes you on a epic journey through his music and many different styles. DeeJay STARkey spins everything from techno to trap. His influences when it comes to music are those that put their all into making music regardless if they sing, play an instrument, DJ equipment, anything unorthodox such as garbage cans. He believes that once you have a favorite artist you separate yourself from music because music should never have separation, title or label. DeeJay STARkey believes that his fans support is what got him to where he is at today and going into the future
