On Friday, February, 19 at 6:15pm, our guest speaker at Shabbat Worship services at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple will be Sharona Hoffman, author of "Aging With a Plan: How A Little Thought Today Can Vastly Improve Your Tomorrow."
Ms. Hoffman's book, reflecting on her own experiences as daughter and
caregiver for her own parents as they aged, is designed to help individuals and families be intentional in their planning about a variety of issues that touch our lives as we age. A compelling speaker and resourceful community leader on issues of aging, Ms. Hoffman will speak during Shabbat evening services led by Fairmount Temple clergy. A follow-up workshop several weeks after the Shabbat service as more people gain insights from her presentation and book, and may wish to ask more direct questions. Soon we will announce the date for the follow-up workshop.
At Fairmount Temple, our caring community initiatives, coordinated by Wendy Jacobson at firstname.lastname@example.org, help our community bring to members of our community a range of ways of feeling supported with kindness during life transitions of aging and as individuals and families face challenges such as illness or memory loss.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful presentation on "Aging With a Plan" with Sharona Hoffman, and with you when you join us at Shabbat Worship, on Friday, February 19 at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple
