In these workshops we will work progressively, setting the foundations and principles of the acroyoga practice, adding up layers of transitions and calibrations into a flowing and stable washing machine. The focus will be on building strength and technique for a clearer understanding of the movement.Besides exploring dance we will also integrate partner acrobatic transitions in a new creative sequence. We will work mainly on the solar/acrobatic aspect of acroyoga aiming for a balance between fun and relaxation, igniting the playfulness of our inner child and cooling it down in the end with therapeutic partner exercices.
OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES
Acroyoga is a practice that works on different levels of awareness, it builds trust in oneself and the other and it brings openness. It is an uplifting way to experience connection and bonding. We aim to set solid principles, and inspire creativity as well as to explore how mutual listening between the base and flyer allows deeper movement fluidity and harmonious transitions, giving grace to the quality of movement. Join us to celebrate the fiery fun of acrobatics embedded with the water fluidity of dancing.
