Abingdon Carbon Cutters is launching the “ABINGDON CUTS PLASTIC” campaign to get us all started on the path towards a plastics free town.
We’ll have lots of information on local initives and what you can do to join in, including:
The national ReFill scheme coming to Abingdon #ReFillAbingdon, where you can fill your water bottle for free in cafes and shops;
Sesi Detergent Refill + Wholefoods in Oxford, bring your own containers (clean jam jars, small bottles etc) to fill with a sample of their ethical eco-friendly detergents and shampoo;
Jarfull, top tips on how to cut your everyday plastic use;
District Waste and Recyling, find out more about where your plastic waste goes;
Green Gym, local litter-picking activities;
Willow Village, tips on how to be a low plastic parent
The Nursery Shop, will be showing off their range of recycled plastic toys
