Join us for a night of 1 Molly and 3 Howls.
On January 20, 3 Howls Distillery (an independent Seattle distillery) will host Molly Wellmann at the Mercantile Library. We will talk about the history of vodka and distilling. And then, because this is a library, we will raise a toast, or two, to American
writer Ivan Doig (a well known Seattle writer), who wrote stories of the American West, including The Whistling Season, The Last Bus to Wisdom and The Bartender’s Tale. He was very good.
Perhaps of equal importance, Molly will teach us all a way to finally make a good vodka drink at home that is more than just adding orange juice and ice.
If there is a better way to begin a cold winter’s night, we don’t know what it is.
Admission is free, the vodka is terrific and Molly is Molly. There will also be tasty snacks from Picnic and Pantry.
We begin at 6:30.
