The City of Brunswick is proud of its history and patriotism, which can be witnessed during the 85th Annual Brunswick Veterans Day Parade, making this event one of the oldest of its kind in the country. The parade takes place on Sunday, November 5 with an opening ceremony beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the
parade getting underway at 2:00 p.m. The event is only one of two officially sanctioned Veterans Day regional sites in Maryland, as determined by the the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
At 2:00 p.m., the 85th Annual Brunswick Veterans Day Parade will get underway. There are over 110 parade entries, ranging from marching bands such as Brunswick High School to veterans and military groups such as the Joint Force Honor Guard out of Washington, D.C. Numerous fire trucks, antique vehicles, youth and community organizations are also participating in this annual tradition.
