The purpose of the commemoration of African prophets is to honor their existence and work that they performed in their respective eras.
As the Muslims acknowledge their spiritual leader and prophet, Prophet Mohammed, Africans should embrace their own spiritual prophets—acknowledging a prophet
own continent, and the presence and voice of God.
By rejecting a true prophet of God is to reject God Himself.
The following Prophets will be commemorated:
Anna Mantsopa, Alice Lenshina, Christina Nku, Johanne Masowe, Nontetha Nkwenkwe.
