For a 23rd year, Santa Clarita presents the wildest event in the West, the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival!
The sights, sounds and swagger of Cowboy life will be on display at William S. Hart Park and Old Town Newhall for four days of rockin' fun.
Wednesday will host the OutWest Concert Series in Old
Town Newhall with An Evening with Syd Masters and the Swing Riders.
On Thursday, Main Street will come alive with a free "Wild, Wild West" SENSE block party from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a performance from Old Salt Union, and an induction ceremony into the Walk of Western Stars.
Friday will feature performances from Western legends Dave Stamey and Don Edwards and other exciting events at several different venues.
Then, the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival will kick off Saturday and Sunday in William S. Hart Park with top-notch Western music, poetry, entertainment, shopping, games and more.
The festival will include a mix of attractions, including gold panning and archery, living history exhibits, a mechanical bull, trick ropers and sought-after Western designer fashions.
Performers include: Hot Club of Cow Town, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, The Quebe Sisters, Don Edwards, Mikki Daniel, James Intveld and more.
Cost: $10 for adults, $7 for kids ages 12 and under. Individual performances available for seperate cost.
